Here’s her story:

I’m Cynthia, a 32 years old single mom.

Here’s how subscribing to a newsletter changed my life FOREVER within minutes… even if I was on the verge of an emotional breakdown.

I’d like to share my own story because I know it will resonate with you… just read it all the way to the end.

I was WRONG!

I was wrong thinking that the Coronavirus won’t affect me and my daughter just because I had a stable job, or at least that’s what I thought…

No, we weren’t infected, Thank God. It just left me financially broke. I was broke many times in my life, but it was just me back then… now, I have Maya, my 3 year old daughter, which I’m thankful for having in my life.

Until 3 months ago, I was a cashier at a gas station. My wage was just enough to pay housing expenses, utilities and food. My mom helped me out from time to time but nothing much.

I was mostly on my own…

And I was determined to make it on my own… by making it I don’t mean becoming a billionaire like Oprah, I mean raising Maya, being able to put food on the table and just provide our basic needs so she could never feel like she has less than others.

I had everything planned out, from paying utilities and food for the next 6 months to even getting Maya through school. It was all math to me and it all made logically sense… the more I worked, the more we had.

Until one morning…

April 7th- my phone buzzes in my pocket. It’s just a message and it was from my boss, Jared. I take my phone out and… as I read the first line I knew it, I knew what was it all about… I almost dropped my phone as I started shaking heavily…

I had to sit down to read the entire message.

My face went blank for a second. I couldn’t feel, hear or see. I couldn’t even move. I stood there for at least 15 minutes… with tears in my eyes I wrote back:

I had to rewrite that 3 times because tears were all over my screen… I couldn’t even type correctly…

I felt:

  • Helpless
  • Frustrated
  • Miserable
  • Embarrassed

…. And I couldn’t even show it… I had to hide it from Maya so she wouldn’t get scared.

I stayed up that night.

I could not sleep nor eat.

My plans were completely shattered. I had no emergency funds, no nothing. I was making just enough to survive until the next paycheck and now, even that was taken away from me.

All I had was the money I set aside for Maya’s schooling funds, which wasn’t much…

I stayed up all night, just crying and staring at the ceiling.

How will I pay rent?

How will I pay utilities?

Food?

Anything?!

I was a total mess. I don’t remember being that scared and terrified EVER before.

And on top of all that, the whole Coronavirus stuff was making it even worse and almost impossible to find a new job.

I didn’t know what to do… I knew I had just enough money that could get us to my next paycheck plus Maya’s schooling funds, which I was saving since she was born.

5 weeks go by…

$23 in my pocket… that’s all I had left. I was desperate. I there was no one you could ask for help either. All because of Coronavirus. Everyone was for themselves.

I was staying up at nights, crying and begging God for help. I wasn’t even eating enough at that point so I could feed Maya.

Until one night…

It was 2AM when I heard something in the kitchen. I got up as fast as I could and went there.

I was relieved when I saw it was Maya. She was checking the fridge and as she saw me she turned to me. With her big beautiful eyes she looked at me and said:

“Mommy I’m hungry”

I looked in the fridge and it was EMPTY. How could I be so numb and depressed that I didn’t even notice that we were running out of food.

I couldn’t hold it back that one time… I burst out crying. Tears were running down my face so rapidly I couldn’t even see Maya anymore. Maya took my hand:

“It’s OK mommy, I’m not that hungry anyway”

As little as she was, she seemed to understand my pain… which made me crying even harder.

It was then when I promised myself that I wouldn’t sleep until I found a solution to all our financial problems:

  1. Reduce my car and healthcare costs
  2. Reduce my home costs
  3. New job for me– job aid.

I promised myself not to go to sleep until I fix all those. There will be no more starving kid in my house ever again!

As you see I wanted to reduce my costs as much as I could and find a new job. Well even simple task like these, during these uncertain times become huge problems.

I took my laptop that very night and I started to search for solutions.

I surfed the internet for 3 or 4 hours and still nothing. I was crying the whole process … my eyes were red and I couldn’t even see the screen anymore.

All I found were some quick-fixes and promises… now I’m not the smartest women on the planet but I know when something’s too good to be true.

It was 6AM now, the sun was rising but I was determined not to give up.

I decided to take a break and log on FACEBOOK. Just as a break.

As I logged in I saw Patricia and her daughter, in vacation on a nice beautiful beach.

But how could Patricia afford going in such places as she was a single, working class mom like me.

As pity as it sounds I decided to text her and ask her how is she affording it. I think it was the rudest thing I ever done but I didn’t care. I was DESPERATE.

I was so embarrassed that I had to ask such a question…

I was all sweating while waiting for her reply… which was unexpected.

I was getting VERY skeptical at this point…

As soon as I received the link I went to their website.

It looked very legitimate to me, and it wasn’t a quick-fix like any other website.

I subscribed to their newsletter and waited…

Within second they got back to me with a quiz. I completed the quiz and waited for the results…

“YOU’RE ELIGIBLE”

I don’t remember being that happy… I was eligible for all sorts of programs and resources… resources that would put me back on my feet.

Since using this program I:

  • Lowered my car insurance
